Description
This is a good-sized quilt for any cupcake lover or anyone who just likes to snuggle under a quilt.
The quilt has been made using 6 different coloured cupcake fabrics and a coordinating purple, which sets off the cupcake pattern beautifully. The two side edges have a small piano key border using the cupcake fabric.
It has been backed and hand bound in the same purple fabric. Into the backing, I have sewn in some rows of the same cupcake pattern as in the front, as an additional design feature.
It has been quilted using a coordinating variegated thread in straight lines using a fancy stitch design.
The wadding is a double layer of Hobbs Heirloom 80/20, so this is a warm quilt.
It measures 217.5 cm x 199.5 cm (85.5” x 78.25”)
